Honduras is well known for its production of arabica coffee, actually the largest production per capita in the world! Honduras provides perfect growing conditions with its fertile soils and altitudes.
Harvest takes place from November till April. The strictly high grown coffees from Honduras must be grown at minimum 1200 M.A.S.L. or higher. The higher altitude provides a denser bean due to the lower temperatures. This can be noticed in the cup. This coffee represents fruits such as Orange, Citric and Lime with a medium body and soft acidity.
