How to make the perfect Iced coffee

Follow these three simple steps for the best brew
1

Brew it Strong

Ice melts, which dilutes your coffee. To keep the flavour punchy, brew your coffee with half the amount of water you usually use (or double the amount of beans). If you are using your Mahers Hazelnut blend, this ensures those chocolate and nut notes stay rich and distinct even when chilled.

2

Sweeten While Hot

Granulated sugar won’t dissolve well in cold liquid. If you like it sweet, stir your sugar, honey, or syrup into the hot coffee immediately after brewing. This creates a smooth, consistent sweetness without any gritty texture at the bottom of the glass.

3

The "Shock" Pour

Fill a glass to the brim with fresh ice. Pour your hot, concentrated coffee directly over the ice. This "flash cooling" method locks in the aromatics and acidity instantly. Top it off with a splash of cold milk or oat milk, give it a stir, and enjoy.
